The Science Research Foundation is a cultural organization engaged in activities aimed at laying the appropriate ground for later enlightened generations, and protecting the moral and ethical values that keep the Turkish state and society alive. Ideologically and culturally, the SRF enjoys a significant place in Turkey. Founded in Istanbul in 1990, the young members of the foundation have organized many cultural activities over the last decade, and it has become an important school of thought in Turkey. Since the day it was founded, the Science Research Foundation has earned considerable public approval for its patriotic and conservative line. It adopts the principles and revolutions of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of modern Turkey, defends the country's unitary state structure and engages in cultural and scientific activities with the objective of serving the country for the perpetuity of the state, and the peace and security of the Turkish nation.

The founders and members of the Science Research Foundation are idealists who hold degrees from the finest schools in Turkey, who have attained remarkable success in both their academic and professional careers, and who wish to use their accumulated knowledge for the benefit of their country and humanity as a whole. They are committed to making great sacrifices to that end.

All the foundation's expenses are met via voluntary contributions from its members. Science Research Foundation members, who are defenders of the Turkish Republic and democracy, want to see a peaceful society free from any kind of unrest, turmoil and anarchy. They simply desire a country where people are inclined to good morals, and where concepts such as family values, mutual love, respect and compassion are respected.
