Springles was founded in 2002 by Judi Naish and Peter Coles with a mission to provide childcare to the highest standards, but at an affordable price.
Since gaining her Nursery Nursing qualification, Judi has had a varied career that has taken her from a residential children’s home where she led a team caring for profoundly handicapped children, to São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro where she worked with street kids, and back to the UK where she was responsible for the children’s unit in a local authority respite centre. Judi has studied for a degree in psychology, including that of children. She is responsible for ensuring that Springles provides the very highest quality of childcare and development.
Peter has held senior positions in banking and finance and has managed teams of up to 500 staff. At Springles he has responsibility for marketing, administration and accounts as well as finding locations for future Springles day nurseries. Although his responsibilities are for the commercial side of the business, Peter also holds a level 4 Certificate in Early Years Practice and relishes his visits to the Nursery and chatting with the children.
