- Now, you are probably thinking, "What on earth is Spore?". Spore is a new computer game for the PC (and possibly XBox 360) created by Maxis and the father of Sim games Will Wright (who is the founder of Maxis), famous for being the creator of SimCity and The Sims. After learning that Will was in fact only a supervisor during the development of The Sims 2, a lot of people were surprised. But then rumours were leaked, speaking of "Will's Secret Project" possibly named SimEverything or SimUniverse. It wasn't until 2005 that these rumours became reality, and later the game was revealed to be named Spore.
