SpiritProject which has emerged from our work with SpiritPortal has not only taken on a new look. Right from the beginning it was totally clear that we wanted more than just to entertain you and do a bit of hocus-pocus, although we still enjoy entertaining you that way. And yet one cannot stop here, because the more confusing and hectic our daily routine becomes, the more loaded with tasks, obligations and demands from both inside and outside, the more we go round in circles trying to find a way out from this perpetuum mobile, that makes us accelerate constantly. Short breaks such as taking a breather and giving your soul chance to recover and to fullfill its task, are the balance between body and soul. When this relation is unbalanced we react with physical illness, bewilderment and disorientation. Many people had to make this rather painful experience and are looking for help by doctors who prescribe them pills that enable them to 'function normally'. Others flee into addictions that daze them for a moment and give them the feeling that things are not that bad. But deep inside themselves, they do feel that this is a dead-end road and that the spiral is spinning faster and faster, and that the old patterns and ideas are not effective anymore.
Can dealing with spiritual matters be a way out? Yes and no. This answer is not sibylline but true.We are all spiritual beings, believe it or not. We have a soul, a connection to the spiritual, or however you want to call it. God, Allah, Buddha, the Goddess, the Creator of all things - it is a power that gives us life, inspires us, fills us with enthusiasm and that gives us a body. Based on these facts dealing with spirituality is a remedy, something that can make us feel 'complete', where we have felt 'torn'. But don't just reach into the treasure trove of esoteric offers without hesitating, putting your trust in finding the right recipe just like that. Everyone is unique, and so everyone has to find his unique access to spirituality. Basically everyone has this knowledge inside oneself and doesn't have to search for it outwardly. When we listen inwardly, say by meditating, we get a presentiment of what is waiting to be discovered. Everybody knows these strange coincidences that sometimes surprise us, or the intuitive impulse when we have to make a decision. We are used to ignoring them, because how are we supposed to explain how we came to this decision? Today fortunately even on a managing level in our economy one has realized that it takes more than studied knowledge and facts on call, when teamwork and success are concerned. When it was important to have a good nose for things in the past, nowadays it's more emotional intelligence and brainstorming, intellectual flexibility and courage for unusual decisions they ask for. But even these abilities are 'taught' already in workshops, and brought into a shape that is supposed to fit everybody. If this doesn't succeed one feels like a loser, not fit for this fast paced modern world.
So where to orientate oneself? How to find one's own way? The best advice we can give is to believe in yourself. Inform yourself about the offers, look at the people who tell you that they've found their way and that they want to tell you about it. But don't let them tell you that there is only one 'right' way for everyone. Be wary when someone comes across as omniscient, maybe even arrogant towards others that are not as 'far' yet as he is. 'Soul-snatchers' are much in demand, as they promise a remedy that cures guaranteed. But as explained before, there is never only one way, and no remedy can save us from the effort and hard work of developing ourselves - in our unique pace and in our unique way. If you manage to become really calm, only for a few minutes a day, by meditating or reflecting, you will soon feel what your soul wants to say to you. Your intuiton, which you can train with a few easy exercises, will help you decide with which information you should deal more detailed. But bear in mind that this can never be a way to dependence. Once someone demands this, you had better run. Real spiritual development should set you free from dependencies and from feelings like rejection, exclusion or even hatred. You will learn to go up to people and the world with open eyes and an open heart. Your life will be more colorful, you will be at ease with yourself and more self-confident. There will be setbacks and doubts, but this can be an indication for the next step in your development. Be brave, because if you trust in the spiritual power that leads us, you'll manage the next step. Your courage and your searching will be an example for others, to find to an authentic life themselves.
