- South Shore Community Broadband is a not-for-profit public and private sector initiative to create a broadband internet infrastructure in the towns of Georgina and East Gwillimbury and the rural areas of Lake Simcoe's south shore. The means by which the latest technology and services can be accessed by our local health care, education, government, and business organizations, this infrastructure will be equivalent to or better than any other in the world and will help our communities to compete and grow.
