- The Belleville Softball Complex opened in June 1997 and is dedicated to promoting safe, family-friendly, recreational, amateur softball in the South Bend and greater St. Joseph County community. The 2007 summer season kicked off with 193 adult slow pitch softball teams playing in the various summer leagues and divisions. Fall leagues total 59 adult slow pitch teams. Well over 4,000 people will participate this season. Play will continue through mid October.
