- The past five years have been an exciting, nail-biting time for me. First and foremost, I have watched my son Elias grow up to be quite a handsome charmer, and along the way I began to collect advice, inspiration and motivation to open my first store, Sons + Daughters. I listened to mothers and fathers of all ages, watched how children absorbed information and their surroundings, and traveled the world (kid-in-tow), to find items that are truly useful and of the highest quality and design. I have tried to keep an eye out for impeccable imported clothing, vintage-wear and excellence in organic and fair-trade clothing and toys-because we just can't start our children off with high environmental and social values too soon.
