Description

Hi, my name is Sonia Coleman. I live in the San Francisco Bay Area in the small town of Benicia. My house is shared with my two feline companions on a hill overlooking the Carquinez Straits, which feeds into the San Francisco Bay and then the Pacific. As usual, I had yet another "birthday" this year, and I'm now 63 years old (ugh, and hooray) - - mixed feelings! It's good to be older and still living and excited about life. It's not as good to look in the mirror.

My interests have always included the visual and tactile - - photography, sewing and needlearts, collage and stamping, a bit of painting, etc. I've been addicted to creating digital graphics since I discovered a graphics Newsgroup on the Net in July 1998. Now that's my medium and I learn something new every day. You can see some of my own work in my Studio in the Gallery section. You will also see the work of Leif Lathrop, my nephew. In the past six years I have become very involved with PowerPoint and have many PowerPoint specific tutorials in the Tutorials section. If PowerPoint is an area of interest for you, please check it out, because I have some information for you that you may not find anywhere else.

Six years ago I retired from a thirty year career in computer systems development and management. I now have more time to "feed" my graphics habit, and decided that a Web page would be a good way to present the results of my efforts.
