The sometemple media collective is an independent publishing company that is actively working on a number of projects to be presented in the coming months. Our projects will range from things like music production to traditional print media, as well as several internet based efforts that will serve as an educational tool for people who are interested in learning more about the ways information and communications technologies can be utilized by common folk like ourselves to... well... get shit done.
Our release model is unique in that everything published by us will, in addition to traditional releases in any given projects native medium, be made available for free in an electronic format online. We want the value of our projects to be based on the content of the work itself as opposed to any financial benefit that may come as the result of a for-profit campaign.
Our traditional releases will be offered at prices that are traditionally lower than you might find at your local record/book store. One reason someone might purchase an album or a book from us when they can download it for free would be because they want to support what we are doing. What with how it costs money to run this website and publish new content, we want to offer a way in which folks can help out and receive something from us in return.
