I've been a photographer for a number of years. One day at work, everyone was given a flower for a fund-raising event. I got the most beautiful ORANGE flower! Luckily I had my camera and went outside and took a few pictures. I was amazed at the power the flower was giving off in the photo and it became a favorite of mine.
When I was in the process of forming this company, I wanted a focused and unified identity of imagery and text. A number of ideas were considered, but none exuded the grace, harmony and power of SOMA. Until I saw that photo again, then it was clear, I needed to use the flower!
