Located in Siloam Springs, Arkansas, the Soderquist Center was founded in 1998 in affiliation with John Brown University's division of Business and Graduate Business studies and partners with the school to offer two graduate degree programs: The Master of Business Administration (MBA) and The Master of Science in Leadership & Ethics (MSLE).
Don Soderquist, the business leader for whom the Center is named, retired from Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. in 2000 after 20 years of service, most recently as Senior Vice Chairman. He currently serves as the Executive in Residence for the Center, providing direction and inspiration to the team. In addition, he teaches in the John Brown University graduate program and spends the rest of his time traveling the world challenging today's leaders to shape the future of business practice through ethical leadership.
