Description

Some history

Socorex Isba SA is often referred to as just Socorex, the name under which it was first founded in the late 40's. Two young watchmakers had identified the need for new types of quality syringes in the medical field. The products rapidly met with success in Switzerland and abroad. In search for synergies, the company merged with another Jura region firm a few years later. Renamed Socorex Isba SA the new entity moved to Lausanne on Lake Geneva in 1960. Under it's present ownership since 1963, the need for a larger facility forced the company out of the city two years later to its today's Ecublens location.
