Description
The Grangemouth Branch of the SNP was originally formed in the 1960’s. It has progressed over the years to become a strong force in local politics. The branch is an active one with regular political activity combined with regular social events highlighting the best of Scottish culture.
The branch commands a good support base from the people of Grangemouth and has successfully returned councillors to the former Central Regional Council and Falkirk District Council over a number of years. The SNP currently lead the Administration on Falkirk Council in coalition with Independent councillors and have implemented numerous policies and initiatives aimed at improving standards and the quality of life within Falkirk district.
