The SnackDog Story really began when four special creatures came into our lives: Soho, Sage, Buddy and Rhoda. We've always loved dogs, but these four souls were uniquely different. Or maybe it was us who were so different because we were now older and better able to appreciate the simple wisdoms these dogs share in living their daily lives. Whatever the reason, we are better able to appreciate their passion and learn from their examples. Their lives are full of love and curiously balanced on four simple principles:

All we want is to keep them healthy and happy as they grow bigger and stronger. And we were surprised to see that so many mass consumer brands of dog treats contained unnecessary additives and artificial ingredients. To find the quality of dog treats that we would want for our dogs - made from all-natural, 100% Human-Quality ingredients like we would use when baking for any member of our family - we'd have to create them for ourselves. Our mission became quite clear: to bake by hand in small batches the tastiest, most wholesome all-natural treats for dogs possible.

Our dogs - and those dogs that live with our friends and family - are in homes with plenty of food and love. But not all dogs are that lucky. So we built into SnackDog, as the very foundation of our business, the mission of giving back to the communities where we and our customers live.
