. The mission of the Smyth County Republican Party is to support Republican candidates for office at all levels (local, Virginia, and national) of government. In addition, the Party nominates and supports candidates for local elected offices and promotes the values and ideals of the Republican Party. Proceedings of the party are conducted pursuant to the Party Plan of the Republican Party of Virginia and the Smyth County Republican Party Plan.
