The Smokin Gunz Paintball series started off in 1998 as just a few stand alone events here and their promoted by John Heater, Brian Bartholomew, Steve Anderson and refereed by team N' Control Since then it has steadily transformed into a beginners only series as a way to continue to grow and promote the sport since other tournament series by large where ignoring the beginner level players.
