Having recognized the absence of a "Thick and Zesty" BBQ sauce in the Huntsville area amongst any other BBQ places, "Mr. Tom" Nottingham opened Smokey's BBQ on North Parkway in Huntsville and was "Smokin" by 1991. With recipes patterned after WayCrazy's BBQ in Chattanooga TN, Smokey's BBQ brings a touch of Apalachian style BBQ together with a wide varitety of delicious sides and desserts.
