Mike Wall of Telkwa BC made his National Hockey League debut on Sunday, November 26, 2006, at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California. With both Jean-Sebastien Giguere and Ilya Bryzgalov sidelined with injuries, the Anaheim Ducks recalled both Wall and David McKee for their game against the Calgary Flames. Wall got the nod, and made nineteen saves in a 5-3 Ducks victory, as the Anaheim defense limited Calgary to a mere eleven shots on goal in the first two periods.
