Description
Dr. Morvillo has been in practice in East Greenwich for over 40 years having received his Dental Degree from the Medical College of Virginia. Dr. Morvillo has extensive experience in cosmetic dentistry having been a member of the Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He has been President of the American Society of Preventive Dentistry and a member of the Academy of Computerized Dentistry. His other professional memberships include the American Dental Association, Kent County Dental Society of which he was a former President as well as on the Board for Peer Review. Dr. Morvillo is also a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and has achieved a Fellowship recognition, having completed over a thousand hours of continuing education.
In addition to his dental expertise, Dr. Morvillo's hobbies include tennis, golfing, skiing and oil painting, (check out his art work in our reception area). He also enjoys gourmet cooking and fine wines. The doctor has six children and is the grandfather of fourteen grandchildren.
The staff at Dr. Morvillo’s is among the finest and most professional, providing services in a caring atmosphere. Dr. Morvillo employs three Registered Dental Hygienists. Karyn McCahey-Monti holds a BS from the University of RI and an MBA from Bryant College with a concentration in Health Care Management. She is currently Practice Manager. Doreen (Dawn) Cole is a graduate of CCRI and currently working on her Bachelor’s degree. Dawn has been practicing dental hygiene over 10 years and is also certified in Administrative Assistance. Stacey Cox is our newest member to the hygiene team, also graduating from CCRI. She also holds a certificate in dental assisting. Tammy Fuller is our Hygiene Assistant. While awaiting admission to Dental Hygiene school, Tammy assist the hygienists in caring for our patients.
