Southern Community Bank and Trust opened for business in November of 1996 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina with one office and 13 employees. Since then, we have expanded to over 200 employees, a growing network of banking offices across the Piedmont Triad and surrounding communities, and a comprehensive range of financial services. Most important, our employees have demonstrated that Southern Community can grow in size without losing the special character, principles and values that have defined us since day one.
