sleeping baby productions ring slings

Description

Have a sling whose fabric you love, but whose shoulder isn't for you; or a short wrap you'd like to turn into a ring sling? [more]

Important message! Please read if you plan to order! In order to keep my life sane and allow me to spend time with my children, I am instituting a new ordering system. (I hate to have to do this, but I've been totally overwhelmed in the last couple of months, and it's turning this hobby into a full-time chore and keeping me from my family.) All slings and accessories will have a point value. I will be allotting a certain number of points each day based on the time I have to sew (so some days may receive more points than others) and once the value has been reached with sling orders, no new orders will be accepted. This seems the simplest way to keep my life sane without starting a waiting list, although it may mean that if you order later in the afternoon, the points may already be gone. If that's the case, please try again the next day, or if that's completely impossible, send me an email and I may be able to open a few points for you, with the understanding that I will not be sewing your sling that day. Questions about why I'm doing this? Questions about how this will work?

Introduction:

Cloth baby carriers, like slings, are just about the most useful baby gadget on the planet. While they may be seen as a new invention in the United States, where strollers have long been the norm, practically every culture on the planet has a version, and they've been used for thousands of years. Ring slings are a relatively recent innovation -- within the last 30 years or so -- but their ease of use and versitility have quickly made them a staple for parents in the know.
