Skydive Alabama is the only DZ located in North Alabama. There is no reason to drive all the way to Atlanta to skydive for we are conveniently located just 40 minutes south of Huntsville and just 30 minutes north of Birmingham making us the closest skydiving facility to these cities, You cannot find a Drop Zone closer to these cities that provides a minimum of a 13,500ft skydive out of turbine aircraft. Watch out though, some drop zones promise altitudes in excess of 13,500ft, but they don't deliver. Our experienced instructors will teach you how to skydive safely. Skydive Alabama is a group member of the United States Parachute Association (USPA), which means that we agree, in the interests of safety and good communications, to abide by the safety standards they set. This also means that all of our instructional staff are certified by the USPA. Skydive Alabama has a safety record that is unparalleled throughout all of Alabama.
Skydive Alabama Inc. provides students with the latest equipment, including square main and square reserve parachutes. The reserves are equipped with the best automatic openers on the market today, "Cypres".
