Sky Hunter Aerials was borne from the idea that there has to be a more economical and timely way for Real Estate developers and land owners to document their investments for their clients and themselves. Full size helicopters were expensive, time consuming to arrange, and hampered by severe airspace limitations that made even the simplest of assignments a huge production. This limited the potential client base to only a few big companies and wealthy individuals who didn't object to the hefty price tag.
Owned and operated by Brad Marshall and his wife Leslie, they found that by mounting high-resolution digital still and video cameras to a remote control (R/C as it's commonly known) helicopter, the cost of such projects, both in terms of price and investment of time, could be significantly reduced. This made the technology more affordable and available to a vastly larger audience.
Now small businesses owners, homeowners, families, and property owners could get birds-eye views of their offices, homes, get-togethers, and land for a fraction of the cost. Photos can be burned to CD and video burned to DVD on-site so the time spent from booking to finished product can be as little as two hours.
