- The Anchorage Skijor Club, Inc., is a nonprofit, volunteer organization whose purpose is to promote the sports of skijoring and ski pulk through sponsorship of recreational activities such as skijor and pulka races and skijor tours; educational activities such as instruction or lectures relating to skijoring; and maintenance of public skijoring trails and facilities. Additionally, the Anchorage Skijor Club supports canine-powered sports, cross-country and backco untry skiing, and other related winter sports.
