Well, I know a lot of you out there are wondering who we are. Let me take a few minutes to explain our site, our staff, and our principles to you.

First off the name, Sinister Left. The name took quite a while to develop and even though its not being used as it was originally intended, we still think it sounds really cool. The idea behind the name Sinister Left is that we were supposed to be the "evil creative hand of the music industry, making websites that are so good the have to be wrong". The word sinister has a double meaning which is either "evil" or "left". This is why the left hand used to be referred to as the sinister hand and those people who happened to be left handed were considered impure or evil. However as time has shown, left handed people are not only not evil by nature, but left handed people tend to be amazingly complex people and great artists. So Sinister Left is a take on all of these concepts and a play on words at the same time.

Now onto the network itself and what we do here. The Sinister Left network of music sites was started out of one fansite.
