Description

Profile

SimpleNet Software exists to write and publish software that makes it easier for people to get the most out of their computers and networks. Some software we write ourselves, and some comes from others with similar goals. Our target markets include public and private organizations of all sizes: even the largest enterprise is made of smaller organizations that can benefit from our software. Schools and municipalities have been badly affected by taxes shifted onto towns and cities thanks to the recent federal tax cuts. SimpleNet software hopes to help them as well.

Philosophy

It is ironic that writing software that is easy to understand and use is very hard to do. Software that lets ordinary people stay in charge of their organization's networks tends to be either very expensive, or, in the case of free or open source software, difficult to learn and understand. Commercial software is often designed to meet the needs of larger corporations and enterprises who can make the investment needed to buy, install, and operate it. As computer networks become more and more common in everyone's working environment there is a need for commodity-priced network software that is simple enough for everyone to use. SimpleNet Software is here to help.

Founder and Owner. Mr. Collins started SimpleNet Software in the summer of 2003. His main goal was to create a company that writes excellent software that is actually sold to and used by real people (in stark contrast with many of the very large companies he has worked for.) "I've got a great team that knows how to get everything done, and we're on a roll!"
