Gene Durst, CPA began practicing in 1978 in Anaheim Hills, California. His practice consisted mainly of write-up (bookkeeping services), compiled financial statements, tax returns and consulting. In 1993, the once privately independent firm was incorporated by Gene Durst and Durst Accountancy Corporation was established. As of September 2002, the name of the company was changed to Durst and Simons, Certified Public Accountants when Ed Simons was admitted as a partner.
