Silver Sonya is co-owned and operated by Chad Clark and TJ Lipple. We love music and care about musicians. We take our work seriously. We take your work seriously.
The studio is a suite within Inner Ear Studios. Our tools are a blend of high-end analog and cutting-edge digital. In addition to being audiophiles and engineers, TJ and I are both active musicians. I sing and play guitar in a band called Beauty Pill (Dischord) and TJ plays vibraphone and drums in a band called Aloha (Polyvinyl).
Our rate is $70/hour. This is the whole "raison d'etre" behind the studio: technically excellent mastering that is affordable to independent labels as well as self-funded musicians. Most full-length album total costs are in the neighborhood of $400 - $700.
