For nearly two decades, Al Langsenkamp has been responsible for successfully steering the Sigma Micro and its operations. In addition to his duties as CEO of the Sigma companies (Sigma Micro Corporation, Sigma Communications, Sigma Micro InfoTech, and Ind-Sigma InfoTech), Langsenkamp continues to take a hands-on approach to the development of all the companies’ products, including Sigma Micro's Controller+™ and Sigma Communications’ REVERSE 911® systems.
Langsenkamp has received gubernatorial honors for his outstanding leadership and service in strengthening the Indiana Corporation for Science and Technology. In July 2000, Langsenkamp served on a national "All Hazard Warning Roundtable," hosted by the National Telecommunications & Information Administration (NTIA) of the United States Department of Commerce, focusing on the role of new telecommunications and information technologies that deliver warnings to citizens at risk in weather-related and other emergencies.
