Sierra Orthopedic Laboratory, Inc. began in 1979 when Jonathan and Rose Batzdorff established the first prosthetic facility in Sonoma County. They quickly realized that in addition to prosthetics, there was a need for modern light weight thermoplastic orthopedic braces for adults and children. The company grew as it successfully provided up-to-date custom orthopedic appliances and personal service to meet the increasing needs of amputees and orthopedically challenged individuals.
