Description
The 6th short film festival SHORTMOVES will take place on November 2006. SHORTMOVES is an annual international festival that also aims to present a platform for the support of short films especially in the state of Sachsen-Anhalt. With the SHORTMOVES project we would like to emphasise the significance of the genre of the short film for the qualification of young peoplh in a medium which has gained influence on the perception of social reality in the 21st century.
Although the short film festival is internationally oriented, it also aims to encourage talented young film makers in Halle and in the state of Sachsen-Anhalt to take a critical look at reality and at subjects referring to society through the eye of the camera. At the same time we would like to draw the publics' attention to the creative potential of the film-makers of tomorrow, establish structures and advance the co-operation among film-makers.
Everybody who wants to contribute a film to the festival should not hesitate to send us a film tape. Please print out and fill in the application form and send it in together with the film cassette in an upholstered envelope. You can find the address here.
