Shortal has been designed by DuckDriver to make it possible for anyone and everyone to get on the web if they want to. If you have everyday PC skills in word processing, using email, and surfing the web, then you can run a Shortal website - and you don't need to download and install any software to do so.
Shortal includes an online word processor, which you can use to create web pages and blog entries, and an integrated document store where the files and graphics that you want to link to are uploaded. You can choose from a wide range of design options to establish a basic look and feel for your site, or develop your own.
More sophisticated tools and options for the 'power user' include full HTML editing, a built-in contact form, an RSS feed for WriteUp (our blogging software), privacy controls (including invited guest only option), and SimpURL a tool for simplifying and creating your own URLs.
