Shore Region Tourism Council is a unique organization in which government, business and non-profit groups work together to promote tourism in Monmouth and Ocean counties. Shore Region Tourism Council is one of six non-profit councils chartered by the New Jersey Division of Travel and Tourism in 1980. The Shore Region Tourism Council is also affiliated with the newly formed Jersey Shore Alliance - a cooperative venture acting as a destination marketing organization made up of the three shore area tourism councils to market, promote and to brand the Jersey Shore as a preferred tourism destination.
