Description
Jim Conroy is co-owner of Carbofast Archery and is a life member of the IAAA. Jim competed in two Olympics as a competitor in Montreal and Moscow, and as the Irish Archery coach in Barcelona. Jim was the holder of all Irish records- indoors and outdoors from 1967 to 1984 (it is worth noting that those were the days of aluminium arrows).
Jim represented Ireland on numerous occasions in the World Championships and is heavily involved in coaching at present, working closely with top Dutch Coach Harry Jacobs.
The Carbofast shop is known as Shooting Style and is currently situated on the Emmet Road in Dublin. Carbofast also manufacture aerospace equipment, as well as archery accessories such as stabilisers, sights, limbs, arrows and bows.
