With our purchase of property in Webster Groves, Shining Rivers has established a home. The school is entering an era of balanced growth. We are expecting 50 students to be enrolled in the 05/06 school year in preschool through grade 3, with a further expectation of adding a grade per year when enrollment can support this expansion.
The following year began six years of residence in rented facilities at First Congregational Church in Webster Groves. During that time multiple early childhood programs and parent education were added to the offerings, serving up to forty families.
A further move, in1999, to St. Louis’ Central West End brought the addition of the grades in rental rooms in historic St. Johns Methodist.
