Tuesday, May 16th Good Afternoon from Shin Pond! What an incredible Spring! Ice Out on Shin Pond was mid April and the trees and plants are three weeks ahead of schedule and of course that means the black flies are early too! But with that brings good Fishing and Fiddleheads. Join us Saturday June 17th on Matagamon Lake as our snowmobile club is hosting our 1st annual fishing derby 6am - 7pm. 1st Prize Largest Brook Trout is $100 Cash 2nd Prize Largest Salmon is 60 inch Beaver Tail Canoe Paddle (donated by Porter's Paddle) 3rd Prize is a Fishing Rod & Reel (donated by Matagamon Store and Camps) $10 per person is the entry fee and this also makes you eligible for numerous door prizes to be drawn on the day of the derby.
