Sherman Ventures is a boutique conference and tradeshow company. We maintain a strong, experienced management team, allowing for the creation and organization of high quality, high profile events. We produced 14 events in 2004.

Christopher Sherman is a serial entrepreneur having produced numerous events, products and services in the technology and entertainment industries. Chris is the driving force behind Sherman Ventures. Previously Chris held a senior management position with United Devices, a grid computing company, managing the worldwide launch and ongoing marketing programs with primary customers Intel Corp., National Foundation for Cancer Research and University of Oxford. Prior to United Devices Chris was the president and founder of UGO Networks, an online entertainment a network launched in 1996 which now reaches 1 in 10 men on the Web. UGO was sold to a group of investors in 1999. In 1994 Chris launched the subscription fax and email news service Multimedia Wire which focused on the growing computer and video game industry. After achieving almost 100 percent market penetration Multimedia Wire was sold to Phillips Publishing in 1996.

Steve Farrer has a 20 year history in emerging growth technology industries and event production, having held senior management positions with Reed Exhibition Companies, Plessey, Motorola, Crosfield Electronics and Price Waterhouse Coopers before forming The Propaganda House, an Austin, Texas-based event production and marketing services firm. Previously Steve established the US office for Protean Marketing, a full service, business-to-business communications agency specializing in high-technology markets. Before joining Protean, Steve worked for Reed Exhibition Companies where he managed a portfolio of events with revenues of $20 million plus, first as Director of the Nepcon Exhibition in the UK and then as Vice President of the Electronics Group in the USA. An Economics graduate and a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, he has also worked for Price Waterhouse Coopers as a Senior Marketing Consultant, and has held various sales and marketing positions with Plessey, Motorola and Crosfield Electronics.
