- When asked what inspires her design choices, Shelley George answers without hesitation "The bride." And it's been that way from the very beginning. As a student at The Art Institute of Seattle, Shelley worked in a bridal salon and was told by her customers how difficult it was to find bridal shoes that were beautifully designed, yet comfortable. Shelley was inspired - enough to sell her car to finance a trip to Europe. There she began sourcing beautiful fabrics and manufacturing facilities for her own collection of designer shoes.
