A speechwriter for more than 10 years, Sheila Allee has produced speeches for a wide variety of speakers, including the Texas governor, the president of the American Medical Association, and executives of Disney and EDS.
A graduate of Texas Tech University, Sheila spent 12 years as a journalist. She was a reporter for the Lubbock Avalanche-Journal before joining United Press International in Oklahoma City, where she covered the Karen Silkwood trial.
In 1980, she went to work for the Associated Press, covering the statehouse in Columbia, South Carolina. The AP transferred her to San Antonio, where she covered news, NBA basketball and professional golf tournaments.
