Description
A native of the High Desert, Sharon has been an effective community leader for many years. Sharon established The Runner Group, a public relations and marketing company which has organized and directed the California Bush for President campaign, serving as an Area Co-chair for Los Angeles, Ventura, and Santa Barbara
counties. Sharon has also worked on ballot initiatives including a recent, successful initiative to bring a Wal-Mart to east Palmdale. Runner's hard work earned her the recognition by Senator Bob Dole and President George W. Bush who both appointed her as a delegate to the 1996 and 2000 Republican National Conventions.
Sharon currently contracts with Desert Christian Schools serving as Director of Community Relations. She helped establish the school with her husband nearly 25 years ago. The Desert Christian Schools is one of the largest private schools in the State of California with nearly 2,000 students on four separate campuses, pre-school through high school. Prior to Desert Christian Schools, Sharon was a licensed Realtor and named "Realtor of the Year" with Red Carpet Real Estate Company.
