HISTORY
Shanghai Trading International Ltd. (S.T.I) is a fully registered company in Hong Kong and Australia (Pty Ltd.). In Mainland China it is a registered regional representative office.
S.T.I. began trading in China in 1999. Early days for S.T.I. saw it involved mostly in printing & packaging and plumbing and building supplies. It was basically a “one man band”. Peter Cain founded this company and operated all aspects of the company from sourcing to pricing to quality control to shipping.
By the year 2000 S.T.I. had employed a number of staff as the customer base had begun to grow and the volume of work and orders became quite significant. Today, S.T.I. supplies to countries such as Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, South Africa, Europe and Hong Kong.
