The Durham-Chapel Hill Jewish Federation is the umbrella organization that represents the Jewish community of Durham, Orange, Chatham, Person and Alamance counties. It is one of 155 member Federations of United Jewish Communities (UJC), which was formed by a merger of United Jewish Appeal, United Israel Appeal, and the Council of Jewish Federations.The Federation’s agencies are Jewish Family Services, Jewish Community Center and the Jewish Community Foundation .
