Description

Excerpted from the website:

Beautiful, intricate things have always enamored me. As a child I would spend my time delicately stringing bolts, washers, pockets full of pebbles. The ornaments I collected would be lashed into necklaces. In my teenage years I began intricate beadwork and silversmithing. I continued to perfect my craft, apprenticing with master jeweler Rick Montano, from whom I learned the art of southwestern jewelry design. I also studied under Elan Varshay who taught me the craft of wax carving. As my love of design blossomed even further, I studied fashion design in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The art of draping the body became incorporated into my jewelry. My creations began to move with fluidity and streamline the curves of the body, using color and texture as one might use cloth. I am inspired by all design; it is often that an intricate molding on a stunning building or a delicate orchid might find its way into my creative sense. To me the vast beauty in design is a representation of the infinite that exists in each person.
