The SFSU Bookstore audit information for Fiscal Year 2004/2005 is avaliable to the public in the administration office of the SFSU bookstore located in Room M-113C of the Cesar Chavez Student Center, San Francisco State University
Mission Statement: "The SFSU Bookstore is a non-profit auxilary of San Francisco State University, existing solely to provide excellent services and products for the benefit of SFSU students, staff, faculty, and the campus community."
The San Francisco State University Bookstore first opened its doors to the SFSU campus in 1954, the first year that the college was located at the Lake Merced site. Originally the Bookstore occupied both floors of the Franciscan Building. In 1975 the current Student Union was completed and the Bookstore moved into the space that we still occupy today.
