- Server Buddy is an anti-cheat scanner that helps identify and protect servers against cheaters. It was designed to look for Counter-Strike and Half-Life based hacks and using the results of a scan, server admins are able to decide whether a person should be banned or not for cheating. Server Buddy is also a plugin-based software and it protects the servers running it. When a person is caught cheating they risk being banned from all Server Buddy protected servers.
