The first Serve Day was organized in May 2000 by ROCKHARBOR Church. After seeing Serve Day significantly affect both the community and its congregation, ROCKharbor made the event an annual occurrence. Coincidentally, University Praise launched its own version of the event in 2001. A vision to involve other churches, organizations, and businesses took shape and has grown each year in scope, participation, and impact.
