Sensor Solutions was incorporated in Colorado in 1993. It started with a new design of a family of magnetic distance sensors that provided an analog output proportional to the distance to ferrous metal. This sensor caught on in the test and measurement field. From that product, we grew into having over 10 different families of products, all based on magnetic field detection. We have 5 patents, and are working on a few more. We have continued to grow our test and measurement business, and added OEM products. We are now ISO-9001:2000 certified. On August 1st, 2005, we will move into our new Steamboat Springs Colorado facility. This facility is 3 times larger than the one we have been in, and has allows us to streamline our manufacturing processes and incorporate more automation and controls.

The company is privately held, and has been profitable every year since inception. The company has an outstanding credit report. It is located in an industrial building in the Mountains of Colorado. Typical lead times for catalog parts are 1 to 2 weeks. Most e-mail inquiries are responded to within 2 days. New products and custom parts can be designed and released to production in 4 weeks.
