Description
The ISDC is a non-profit research, education, and advocacy organization established to assist all citizens in directing their own healthcare by finding and verifying accurate information on treatment benefits and risks.
ISDC programs and services are designed to promote clearer communication between caregivers, hospitals, public and private insurers, and consumers. We value open discussion of risks, high quality care, maximizing treatment options for patients and clinicians regardless of payor type, and cost effectiveness.
A study of Medicaid patient safety data as mandated by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (the federal organization that oversees Medicaid).
