Description
Excerpted from the website:
- British Columbia - CANADA
- The Fraser Valley is one of several distinct regions that make up what is considered to be the Lower Mainland of British Columbia. "The Valley", as it is referred to in these parts is that area extending from the community of Hope at its eastern end to the community of Langley in the west. It takes the shape of a triangle placed on its side. The point is Hope and the base is Langley/Pitt Meadows. Even though technically the area west of Langley all the way to the Strait of Georgia could be considered a continuation of the valley this area is referred to as Greater Vancouver. Another distinction made by this site is that north of Hope the Fraser River runs through what is known as the Fraser Canyon which will eventually provide content for another site dealing with aspects of the "interior".
