Description
After nearly thirty years in the natural gas industry, Richard Firebaugh retired as Director of Utility Services for TECO Energy Services, Incorporated (TESCO). Mr. Firebaugh was brought to TESCO in 1999 to develop the Utility Services Division -- a unit that generated more than $15 million in revenue over the next four and a half years.
August, 2003 marked yet another important accomplishment for Firebaugh: the establishment of Southeast Diversified Services Company, Inc. (SEDSCO), which was started to provide design, engineering, inspection, project management, and construction services worldwide. At the same time, TESCO and SEDSCO entered into a non-exclusive Performance Agreement which supports the integral continuation of Firebaugh's consultancy services to TESCO. As part of this agreement, Firebaugh retained the work product that he developed, and is able to provide his contractual services to current and future TESCO customers. The many valued vendors and subcontractors that have supported Richard Firebaugh's initiatives in past years are also able to continue this important relationship to support customer needs.
Since August, SEDSCO has been busy executing a Professional Services Agreement as a pipeline contractor with VeriForce, while also successfully completing evaluations to perform propane and natural gas pipeline tasks under the Operator Qualifications Rule.
